Finally getting caught up.  Although the idea is to do a painting a day, I actually have more than one painting going at a time in different stages.  Since these are all oil, I sometimes have to let things dry a little before I can continue or complete the work.  I actually have two more done that I haven't posted yet, so that means I'm only one painting behind.  (Day 50 is 7/6.)  going up to the Sierra this weekend with my dog Thekla and members of my book club for some hiking, wine tasting and general R&R.  Will do some painting tomorrow before I leave and Sunday when I get back, so hope to stay pretty much on track.  If anyone has any ideas or requests for a certain dog breed, by all means, let me know.  Till Monday...
