Here is the grid of 49 of the 50 dog paintings that will be in the 50/50 Show at Sanchez Art Center July 24th. The 50th painting of Dooley (posted below) will be framed and off to the side along with an artist's statement and bio. It should be an exciting show with 67 artists in all exhibiting in various media. That's 3350 pieces of work!

50/50 DOGS ON GRID

Finally getting caught up. Although the idea is to do a painting a day, I actually have more than one painting going at a time in different stages. Since these are all oil, I sometimes have to let things dry a little before I can continue or complete the work. I actually have two more done that I haven't posted yet, so that means I'm only one painting behind. (Day 50 is 7/6.) going up to the Sierra this weekend with my dog Thekla and members of my book club for some hiking, wine tasting and general R&R. Will do some painting tomorrow before I leave and Sunday when I get back, so hope to stay pretty much on track. If anyone has any ideas or requests for a certain dog breed, by all means, let me know.
